This page explains what information KenovahCT collects through this website, why, and how it's handled. We collect the minimum needed to process a gift, respond to you, or run the programs described on this site.

What we collect

Donations. When you give through the Give page, payment is processed directly by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles that. If you provide an email address, it's used to send you a receipt and, if you look yourself up later on the Account page, to match you to your own giving history.

Volunteering. The Get Involved page links to your email client so you can write to us directly — that message goes to our inbox like any other email. We don't store volunteer submissions in a database.

Account lookups. The Account page lets you search your own donation history by entering the email you gave with. That search is sent to Stripe to find matching records; we don't keep a separate copy of the results.

Staff access. Our team signs in to a separate admin area using Firebase Authentication to manage the events calendar. This is unrelated to anything you submit as a visitor or donor.

Cookies

We use one functional cookie: a signed session cookie that keeps staff signed in to the admin area. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies, and we don't run third-party analytics on this site at this time.

Who we share information with

Stripe processes payments and stores payment details under its own privacy policy. Firebase (Google) hosts our events calendar and staff sign-in. We don't sell or rent your information to anyone, for any reason.
